This next piece of art is a mountain scene. I used a variety of shapes such as circles, triangles, and curves to produce it. I also used the pen tool which allowed me to create the clouds in the background and the path leading off to the distance in the right. There isn’t much negative space, as the mountains take up a majority of the overall space. The value of the artwork is shown distinctly on the mountains. I used different shades of purple to represent the shadows and the mountains becoming smaller as they are venture farther and farther away. The most successful component of this work of art would have to be the clouds. I was able to feather them in order to achieve the smoky, wispy look a lot of clouds have in reality.
